Matte black, hinged, with rubber at every point the phone touches. The pads matter more on a folding stand than a solid one — a lighter stand slides where a heavy one stays put, and non-slip contacts are what compensate. Folded it is roughly the footprint of a card wallet. Opened it sits at a fixed working angle rather than an adjustable one, which keeps the mechanism simple and the failure points down to a single hinge. Ordered in volume for conference bags. At this size and weight the shipping cost per unit is negligible, which is why it appears in a lot of large delegate orders.
