An embossed circular crest is pressed into the tan cover, with a snap-stud closure on a leather tab and a burgundy pen alongside. The crest is supplied as a die, which means it is your emblem pressed into the leather rather than a plate screwed onto it — a different kind of object, and the closest thing in this catalogue to a bespoke notebook. Circular and shield-shaped marks work; wide wordmarks do not.
