About this hamper
The closure is a round magnet under a leather tab, which shuts itself as the cover comes over. Elastic requires a deliberate action; a magnet does not, and people close a magnetic notebook every time where they leave an elastic one open. Small behavioural detail, but it determines whether the notebook still looks presentable after six months in a bag. Tan leather with a wooden pen alongside — warm materials throughout, no chrome. The magnet disc itself can be engraved as an alternative to debossing the cover, which suits circular logos particularly well.
