Slate blue — the muted one, not royal — with a pen barrel matched to it. Muted blues age better than saturated ones and photograph without the colour blowing out under office fluorescents. The cover is a fine-grain PU that resists the shiny wear patches plain PU develops at the corners. On a notebook that lives in a bag, corners are where the wear happens first and where cheap materials give themselves away. A straightforward two-piece for volume gifting. Silver foil sits better on this shade than gold, and white screen print reads cleanest of all if your logo has fine detail.
