The plastic-pen version of the blue notebook pair, and it exists for a specific situation: recipient lists in the thousands where a metal pen multiplies the budget past what the gift is worth. Being direct about it — the pen is the compromise. It writes well and it is colour-matched, but it does not have the weight of the metal version and anyone who handles both will know which is which. What you gain is the ability to give everybody something rather than a few people something better. For event delegate bags and factory-floor distribution that is usually the right trade.
